Partnership in Battle

Good morning and greetings to you in Jesus name. This morning, the Lord is fighting for you, the Lord is working for you in ways that you cannot see. You need to understand this my dear friend that God’s purpose each situation, each circumstance of our lives will prevail i.e inspire of everything that the enemy tries to bring against us, everything that he keeps as an obstacle, as a stumbling block between where you are and where you got to go. The Lord is a mastermind at exposing the scheme and the plans of the enemy and He is consciously, constantly brings support for you, raising people up who can pray for you, fight, and stand with you, who can watch your back as you fight your battles, thank God for these people in our lives.

Judges 1:3, “The men of Judah said to their relatives from the tribe of Simeon, join with us to fight against the Canaanites living in the territory allowed to us, then we will help you conquer your territory, so then men of Simeon went with Judah”.

When Joshua went into the promised land, one of the things he did was divide the land even before the Israelite had conquered the entire land. They had stepped into the land and by faith, they received their inheritance, each tribe except the tribe of Levi, received their inheritance under the leadership of Joshua. It was uptown each tribe to conquer what naturally belonged to them, they had to go and lay hold of those places and claim those places for themselves. The tribe of Judah knew that if we went alone, we may be limited in our skillset, abilities, resources, if we go alone, it may be a challenge to take what rightfully belongs to us.

So what they did is send for help to the tribe of Simeon, they told their brothers why don’t you come with us and help us conquer what rightfully belongs to us. Even though there is no land for you here to get, but if you can stand with us and help us fight for our destiny, help us fight for our inheritance, help us fight for our land, we will also come and fight with you and help you get what rightfully belongs to you.

What you will see here is this divine partnership that develops between two tribes, I pray and hope that in this season you and I will become intentional to partner with somebody else who needs to reach their destination, who needs to receive their destiny, who needs to walk into the promises of God, the plans of God, the prophecies over their lives. So often we are only interested in how God will take care of us, bless us, provide for us. But today, we could just take your eyes off yourself for a minute and keep in on your brother/sister, and say how can I help my brother/sister get what truly belongs to them? if you can just fight for them like you are fighting for your own self, children, church.

We may not have any natural rewards of them being on your side and vice versa, but what you don’t understand is that in the spirit realm, you are going to be acting, working, and serving the way that Jesus does, because the bible says he who wants to be the greatest among all, he must the servant of all, so when you activate this principle and begin to serve your brothers/sisters what you are doing is placing yourself in a spiritual position that is so great, powerful, high that now, there will be special angels that will be released to fight for you.

You may be wondering what is the benefit of fighting for this guy when this guy doesn’t have the capacity to come back and help me fight my battles, or help me in my challenges, issues and problems. Remember this my dear friends, your help ultimately comes from God, but what God is looking for is are you activating and implementing the principles that he’s taught you in his word. One of the principles is the principle of serving and when you become intentional to serve the people that are in need that helping extra hand so that they can enter into their promises, heaven will come to fight for you when you need it, heaven will come to fight for you when you are at the brink of your promise land.

Don’t wait for everything to be perfect and alright in your life and for you to achieve everything that God has promised to you before you go to fight for somebody else, here you see that the tribe of Simeon had not received their promised land yet and yet they consented to go and fight for the tribe of Judah and vice versa. I believe and hope that the church will be filled with people that care for their brothers and sisters and will fight for their brothers and sisters, not just in words and times of prayer, but also physically, practically running around doing whatever it takes to make sure we preserve the call of God, to preserve the blessings of God upon our family members in Christ.

I hope that this word was a blessing to you and you would practically do something about it today before the day finishes. Don’t let this word go by without you having implemented it and doing something about it.
