All the Treasures

Jesus is the one who gives us all the understanding, knowledge, information, wisdom that we need to live our life because He is the wisdom of God.
Colossians 2:3 says that in Jesus all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden. When a person looks from the outside, they could probably see Jesus as a religious leader, teacher, savior, healer, provider, and yet when we are willing to invest and grow into a relationship with Jesus, all the hidden infinite treasures of wisdom and knowledge will be ours.
In a personal relationship, we take time to get to know and understand the other person and sometimes we have to let go of things and have to sacrifice our own time and resources to be able to invest in that relationship but the beautiful aspect about doing the same thing in our relationship with Jesus is that we have more to gain than to give.
Colossians chapter 2 also talks about how many of us live in a degraded kind of a life because we are subscribing to the wisdom of the world which is not the true wisdom. Paul states that it is just a show of wisdom and not a true wisdom. True wisdom is the demonstration of who Jesus is and for that we need to grow in a relationship with Jesus. We get influenced by the person that we are exposing ourselves to and the same aspect is true about our relationship with Jesus. When we spent time with Jesus, the wisdom, knowledge, and treasures that are hidden in Him will begin to influence the way we live our lives.
Let us not degrade ourselves to live according to the wisdom of the world, flesh, community, church and religious organizations. Everybody has some level of wisdom but it is only a reflection of the heavenly wisdom which gets manipulated and corrupted by a lot of human influence over the time, and if you want the real heavenly wisdom, you need to grow in a relationship with Jesus.
Things that are hidden in Jesus are only for those that are willing to spend time, seeking and bringing it out, discovering and unveiling it and in this season, may the Lord equip and help us to unveil those things that are hidden within Christ Jesus.
