Welcome to another day with Jesus.
This day and this week, God has been doing wonderful things in our lives.
When God gives us a word, it is important to believe that the Word is changing us and our destiny and when we continue to believe that, God is able to do more than we could ask for or imagine.
In Proverbs 11:6, there are two categories of people here, the good people and the treacherous people.
What qualifies us to be good people? Is it our actions, our good deeds? Sometimes, the most gracious and kind people can be characterized as different by Heaven.
God calls us “good” only when He sees “Jesus and the image of Christ in us.” In order for Christ to be formed in us, we don’t have to strive harder in our strength but simply yield to the Holy Spirit.
Goodness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit not a fruit of our hard work and commitment, prayer or even Bible reading.
The more we soak in the presence of God and yield to the Holy Spirit, the more goodness will come out of us.
We are ‘good’ when we represent Christ which is to yield with the Holy Spirit. Share on XAre there areas in your life where you feel challenged? Just focus on the goodness and godliness that come out of those areas and that very same goodness will come to rescue you. You don’t run outside for help but that godliness itself will come to help you.
But if we refuse the work of transformation by the Holy Spirit in our lives, we will build our own ambitions, lifestyle, attitudes than is different from God’s over our lives.
Your self ambition can be a trap for you.
Today, allow the Holy Spirit to mould you so you won’t have to be trapped but to be rescued. May this revelation grow in you.
Have a good ahead day.
