Like the Blind
We grope like the blind along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living, we are like the dead. – Isaiah 59:10 NLT

Good morning and Greetings in Jesus’ name.
I pray that we experience Gods nearness this morning. It is an opportunity to become more and more like Jesus.
If you are listening to me this morning, I believe it is because the Lords wants to fulfill His divine purpose through your life.
Sometimes we say yes to so many things that will keep us as enemy with God. Friendship with the world cause enmity with God. Friendship with the world cause enmity with God.
Isaiah 59:10 – “We grope like the blind along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living, we are like the dead.”
When a person is unable to see, he has to rely on external force or structure to get from one place to another. In this case the man has to grope along the the wall to decide where he has to go and where he has to walk.
The verse is expressing that when sin comes into our lives, we are dependent on feelings and emotions; facts and things that God has spoken over our life does not govern us.
Sin makes sure that we are completely deprived of our spiritual senses and that we are dependent on emotions and feelings.
The scripture says, “Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living, we are like the dead.”
It means that there can be seasons when we are actually in a revival, where God is revealing Himself to you, you might be surrounded by visitations and manifestation but sin in our life can make us feel that we are in dark times. Let me tell you taht it is possible for you to receive words from prophets but if you are blinded by sin, it will still feel that there is darkness around you. It happens because sin has a blinding affect on us.
Whatever is the greatest temptation to you, it can make go dark and make you live like you are blind. The only fix to this is that the veil has to be lifted for blindness to be removed.
Some of us may be among living people, people who love the Lord and principles of God, and yet the lifestyle we live and the way we respond to God shows that we are dead. The scripture is very clear- ‘man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God’.
If you are not hungry for the word of God, it is a sign that you are spiritually dead. But this morning every plan of the enemy to keep you blinded is exposed and we declare, may your eyes be opened, let your chains fall, may your addiction be broken, in JESUS name.
You will not grope and stumble! You will not miss you time of encounter. You will experience the goodness of God.
Father we thank you for this word. We believe that you are opening our eyes and by opening our eyes we are receiving new life. We give you all praise for what you are dong today, every sin that is being wiped out. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
