Cry for Seeds

What do we bring to God as we express our love and thanksgiving to Him? Is it the songs, the words, tithes, offerings, or our bodies offered as a living sacrifice?
Irrespective of what we bring to Him, we must learn to worship Him every day of our lives. We need to bring our offerings and worship not only on Sundays and special occasions.
As long as we have breath, we are obligated to praise, worship, love, and adore Him. Whenever there is a lack of worship, excitement, or childlike wonder, we must put everything on hold to fix that, because it would’ve been the result of spiritual disease or infection. We need to get to the root of that.
Joel 01:08-09
“Cry, you people, like a young woman who mourns the death of the man she was going to marry. There is no grain or wine to offer in the Temple; the priests mourn because they have no offerings for the Lord.”
In this nation, there was a lack of worship, lack of offerings to give the Lord. God says to cry like a woman mourning the death of the man she should marry. The church should cry out with such a pain when we see a lack of worship to God.
The church need not cry when there is a physical lack of food or other necessities. But cries should be there when there’s a lack of worship, wonder, and love, to give to the Lord.
What we have may not be worth much, but in God’s hands it becomes a seed. Even if there was no food for the family, feeding the prophet would be the seed that would sustain the family through the famine. (I Kings 17)
You don’t have to worry when you don’t have enough, but be concerned when you can’t give enough time, wealth, or heart for the Kingdom of God.
There is great power in your tears, your desperation, and hunger. What you then receive would not just be for your need, but a seed- the beginning of what God wants to give to you.
Don’t consume the seed and be temporarily satisfied, but rather let it become a seed that will sustain you just as the prophet’s meal sustained the widow’s family in famine.
Let your first love be restored.
