Don’t Let Him Fool You
Isaiah 36:15
Don’t let him fool you into trusting in the Lord by saying, ‘The Lord will surely rescue us. This city will never fall into the hands of the Assyrian king!’

The more we trust in God, the more we express our devotion and worship to Him.
Worship is your undivided devotion and undoubted submission to God that you trust Him. Share on XThe intention of the Assyrians was not just to conquer Jerusalem but also to cause fear in their hearts. In Isaiah 36:15, the Assyrians officials were calling out to people and saying not to let Hezekiah fool them in believing to trust the Lord.
This is how the enemy will try to deceive you and try to discourage you in trusting God.
Every voice that says that trusting in God is a mistake and it doesn’t make sense, is definitely not the voice of God, but of the enemy who wants to see you terrorised. If you are able to ignore these voices, only then you will be able to worship God unconditionally.
For instance, people, even the ones who are close to you, may come and advice you that some things that you’d want to do are not practical or God may not provide for it, you need to immediately discern it.
Godly advice is necessary, but don’t let anyone fool you into believing that trusting in God, fasting and praying, giving your tithes to the Lord etc. is a mistake.
Everytime you succumb to those voices, you fall away from worship.
If you have been listening to those voices and believing in them, stop now and take time to repent and turn to God 100% and let Him be the master of every aspect of your life.
When you do so, your devotion and dedication to God will speak more than all the songs you sing to Him. Worship will be expressed in your trust!
