Enjoy the Favour
Philippians 1:7 NLT
So it is right that I should feel as I do about all of you, for you have a special place in my heart. You share with me the special favor of God, both in my imprisonment and in defending and confirming the truth of the Good News.

Paul says we have something in common – We are partakers of the favor of God.
Receiving from God is an expression of worship. Often we find it hard to believe that God wants the best for us because of inferiority complex and we don’t celebrate what God has done for us.
One of the greatest joy a parent experiences is to see their children enjoy what they give them. As God’s children, worship is also about coming to a place where we are freely willing to enjoy His love and celebrate what He is doing in our lives.
Do not go to the extreme of taking His favor for granted. Paul acknowledges that whatever he is experiencing is a special favor that God has poured out on him.
Worship by acknowledging that everything you have, all your spiritual and physical gifts, is from God because of His special favor on you.
Sometimes we may feel that we don’t deserve what He has given us. In the Bible you will find numerous promises on what God has planned for you and His heart for you. These promises may sound too good to be true and we think it’s not for us. When we do that we disconnect ourselves from our destiny and from a form of worship which is unique to those who know who they are.
In the story of the prodigal son, when the elder son came home and saw the celebrations for the prodigal son, he told his father that he was never given a party or celebration all this while. The Father told him that all of this always belonged to him, that everything the father had belonged to his son.
Worship God today by acknowledging and celebrating His love and His favor upon your life. Make sure to share this and become a blessing to someone today!
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
