Life in His Hand
Job 12:10 HCSB
“The life of every living thing is in His hand, as well as the breath of all mankind.”
What is it that God is expecting from us? What is it God is looking for from us?
Job 12:10 says that everything that has life is in God’s hand. This is our destiny, that our life is in the hands of God. If God chooses in a minute to take away that breath, we wouldn’t exist immediately.
As we’ve read in Psalms 150:6 – let everything that has breath, praise the Lord. We’ve been given life so we can praise God. That’s what God searches for.
John 4:23 says – “the Father seeks true worshippers”. This means that there are only few true worshippers.
Can God count us as true worshippers? Can we praise Him with every breath we have?
Job worshipped even under the worst circumstances, when everything was taken away from him. In every season of life though, Job was constantly looking for reasons to worship Him.
As long as we have breath in our nostrils, we have a reason to worship Him. Stop waiting for that breakthrough to worship Him, stop waiting for that healing, that financial income, that tangible experience, to worship God. Worship Him for the life He gave you, because He has chosen for us to be alive.
There are 7 billion human beings that breathe, but let us be that portion of people who worship God for giving us our life!
