No Heart’s Fail

Jan 13, 2020 | Worship

1 Samuel 17:32 KJV
“And David said to Saul, Let no man’s heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.”

Let’s be reminded that whatever we are going through, God has a grip on our situation and problems. The one reason we worry is because we don’t think God is still in control. But God is orchestrating everything for our good.

So let’s begin our day with that firm encouragement in our spirit. Our God is bigger than our problems.

When we give into our fear and live like victims of our circumstances, we are glorifying the enemy whose sole objective in life is to bring fear into our lives. But instead when we confess and walk in the opposite, we are glorifying God.

When the Israelites were faced with fear to fight Goliath, it was supposed to be the king comforting his subjects but here is the subject, a young man who is comforting his king and nation through the king by saying that God will fight for them.

Today, let’s capture this language in our spirit, from the spirit of fear to the spirit of faith. Let no man’s heart fail seeing any discouragement in life. What we do in that process is that we bring worship to Jesus.

Fear increases your worship to the devil, but faith increases your worship to Jesus. Share on X

David was a worshipper. The way he led worship was not just with songs but also with encouragement. If we are called into worship, we have to be an encourager at heart – to learn and know how to encourage yourself. We need to understand that encouragement brings glory to God.

Let’s not let our heart fail, not let our circumstances hijack our emotions and spirit, not let the enemy have the final say.

In the book of Job, we see the example of how he worshipped God, it was followed with a lot of discouragement, he questioned a lot of things and began to ask things that was outside his scope of knowledge. Job had the grace because he had no better knowledge, he didn’t have the bible or men and women of God who went ahead of him. David had an example of Job, Abraham, Moses etc. so David did not complain and went ahead and started encouraging people’s hearts.

Let’s live a life of encouragement in a way our heart, mind and spirit doesn’t fail. May others also continue to follow Jesus by the way we walk.
