Good morning and greetings in Jesus’ name. Welcome to this amazing new day. I believe that the Lord wants us to worship Him like never before. The Lord wants to come in to help you and redeem you from every obstacle, hinderance, mind block, challenge, threat, wind and wave that stands in your way and stops you from worshiping the Lord. The Lord wants to make sure you are able to worship Him, praise Him and adore Him inspite of the obstacles in your way.
The book of Mark 16 talks about the women going to worship Jesus after the crucification. They were going to adorn the dead body of Jesus with spices and fragrances. They wanted to express their love for Jesus, inspite of knowing that He was dead.
Mark 16:3 says, On the way they were asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?”
They had a spiritual desire to worship Jesus. And yet, there was a stone that was at the entrance of the tomb; a stone that kept them away from worshipping Jesus; a stone that separated them from their desire, from their expression of their love for the Lord. So, their discussion on that early morning was, ‘who will take away the obstacle?’ They were not praying for themselves to be benefitted somehow, to get a blessing, or to get an easy or comfortable future. They wanted to worship without any obstacle.
This morning, I’m inviting you into that same journey. Will you ask the Lord to give you the strength and ability to discern the stones or obstacles in your life? What are those relationships, people, circumstances, commitments and vows that you’ve made that are now standing as a hindrance in your worship, love and devotion to the Lover of our souls? What are those things that are standing in the way? We cannot expect God to take them away without knowing what they are. We cannot expect God to give a Devine breakthrough if we have not identified the real issue. We cannot expect to spend time discussing with our fellow worshippers about ‘who can roll away the stone’, if we do not know that there is a stone. If you are completely ignorant of a stone that is now blocking the entrance of that chamber where you need to enter in to worship; if you are unaware of that obstacle, then you will remain unsatisfied in your worship all through your lives.
This was the problem of Cain. He came to worship God, but didn’t see that there was a closed door. He didn’t see the hinderance. After being dissatisfied, he then expressed his anger, jealousy and envy upon his brother. His brother was not responsible for his stone. He should’ve taken ownership of his own intimacy, love and devotion for God. He should’ve researched his heart, lifestyle, behavior patterns, his giving and receiving, and seen where he was being an obstacle himself or weather the people around him were being an obstacle for his love for the Lord.
May this morning be spent in investigating what those stones are. If you are sure of what your stones are, and if you cry out to God, I’m releasing an answer from the presence of the Lord. There are angels that are assigned to fight your battles in this season; to roll away every stone that is present physically and mentally, that is impossible for you to roll away. There is angelic help available. If you will address it, and seek help in removing those obstacles, I pray that you get help that will melt those stones away and you can enter and worship God with freedom. I declare every stone be rolled away.
