Purify the Vessel

Transcript:
Every morning when we gather in His presence it is necessary that we allow the Lord to do a new work within us, that we allow the presence of God to change us and give us a new relationship with him. In today’s verse, it says that before Aaron finishes, he must purify the holiest place the tabernacle or the altar and then present himself. It is a process for the Day of Atonement in which the King makes a sacrifice for the sins of his kingdom. It is said that before the sacrifice it requires cleansing of the altar.
The worship we bring to the Lord is important but there is something that has to go in our preparation for worship. Share on XOur worship is valuable to God, but the importance is also based on the preparations we do for it. Our body is the temple of God and our heart is where He dwells. It is very easy for us to worship or sing songs but vessel often do we spent time sanctifying the vessel or the tabernacle of God; which is Shekinah glory dwells in physical form but because it required human presence, it was necessary that it had to be sanctified from time to time. If we can make it a daily practice to consecrate and purify those areas of our lives that need more consecration our worship will be more meaningful.
We need to sanctify our relationships, thoughts, actions and then enter into Worship, our worship will be so much more meaningful, glorify God, transform us and touch lives words. When we worship without any concern for the vessel or the tabernacle then that worship is just going to be a song we are singing and a religious activity. If our worship needs to carry all that power that it is meant to carry, we must take out time and allow some uncomfortable situations and seasons in our lives where there is dirt taken out of our lives and we bring all that hidden under the crevices of our heart so that God can help us overcome them. God doesn’t want us to quit worship because we have impurities in our lives but He wants us to deal with those impurities before we enter into worship. With the purification of our heart, our worship will bring the greatest glory to our lives.
Today, Let us ask God to purify and consecrate our hearts before we bring ourselves before Him for worship.
