Recognised by God

1 Corinthians 8:2-3 NLT
Anyone who claims to know all the answers doesn’t really know very much. But the person who loves God is the one whom God recognizes.

So often we think that we have all the answers to all the questions that we have in our life, and every time we do that, we will definitely be disappointed. The truth of the matter is that we don’t really have all the answers and know very much, because we do not have the understanding and perspective on everything.

1 Corinthians 8:3 says “But the person who loves God is the one that is recognized by God.”

The more you continue to depend on your own understanding, wisdom, ability to discern and decipher your life’s problems, the less you will run to God for help.

Anytime we think that we know and we don’t need God, we have already trespassed against God and that is an act of not loving God.

The bible says that the eyes of the Father goes to and fro. He is looking for one man or one woman, whose heart is totally committed and loyal to Him.

Jesus was hidden for the first 30 years of His life, and we could only see 2 or 3 stories from the birth of Jesus till He was aged 30, and right at the age of 30, the Father makes up a public proclamation over Jesus saying “This is my dearly loved Son who brings me great joy.” Even though He had not started performing miracles, teaching the people or healing the sick and had not made any sacrifices or died on the cross yet the Father said Jesus is His dearly loved Son, because in the first 30 years of His life, Jesus lived in absolute devotion, commitment and with loyalty to the Father.

When you love God, it is but obvious that God is going to recognize you.

Let your love and devotion be so attractive and your worship be so powerful in this season that you will be recognized by God. Let the recognition come in your house, in your office, in your church, ministry, in your city and over the nations of the earth.
