Revelations to Worship
2 Corinthians 12:3-4 GNT
I repeat, I know that this man was snatched to Paradise (again, I do not know whether this actually happened or whether it was a vision – only God knows), and there he heard things which cannot be put into words, things that human lips may not speak.
Every time we limit our revelation and understanding only to those few things that we already know or have heard from people around us, we are limiting our growth in God. Yet when we hunger for more, the little that we have will begin to multiply and God will begin to release visions and revelations that we have not even heard.
Paul is speaking of his experience of going to paradise in 2 Corinthians chapter 12. He says he is not even allowed to share those encounters that he received because of the depth, the greatness, the power and the intimacy of those encounters.
The similar revelations God gave to John as well and asked him to write down all of them.
But why did God give such encounters to Paul that he couldn’t share?
One of the reason might be that God wanted Paul to fall in love with Him all over again.
Every encounter with God brings us to a place of worship and surrender.
The more we worship Him, the more will our hunger grow and the more revelations we would get of Him and the more revelations we get of Him the more we will begin to worship Him again. It is like a cycle that goes on and on.
If your cry is to hunger for more of God, your worship will go up to another level.
The primary reason that God created all the creation and us is that we can worship Him and bring Him glory.
The only difference between the things under and in heavens and us is that only we humans can have a relationship with God.
The angles worship with reverence, but only we can have a relationship with God and worship Him.
However, this should not make us take God for granted but with awe and reverence we need to continue to worship Him.
May God release heaven encounters, visions, dreams and desires into your spirt that will increase your desire to fall in love with Him all over again.
