Transcript:Good Morning & Greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this amazing new day. The Lord wants to reveal himself not only to you, but even to the people that you are surrounded by. We are the intercessors for the world around us. We are the medians, the vessels that God would use to encounter the people around us. How will they worship God? How will they have knowledge or a revelation of God? It is definitely through our actions the reactions we give to our environment. The way that we respond to crisis or chaos or challenges will either prove to them that God is real or in fact do the exact opposite.
Let me tell you the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. They were surrounded by a lot of unbelievers and a wicked king called Nebuchadnezzar.
Let me read this scripture for you, this is the end of the story, this is Daniel 3:28.
Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than to serve or worship any god except their own God.
This is coming from a wicked king like, king Nebuchadnezzar. He just saw a revelation of Jesus through the obedience of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He just had an encounter with heaven, he had an experience that he can never forget. I am desiring this for me and for you I am praying that our lives, our obedience, our love for God our commitment to his ways, to his principles will be such that it will become a testimony. A mighty testimony to the world around us; that they will began to worship God.
It says that Nebuchadnezzar began to praise the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. May the people around you beginning with your family find a reason to praise your God. Find a reason in your character, in your life. In your choices, in your decisions to worship your God. I cant over emphasis this so many times we just out source the work of ministry to our pastors and our evangelist, to the teachers that preach the word of God in the church. But do you know that your obedience in your workplaces, your commitment to the love to the faithfulness of God in your home. When you are worshipping unto God it matters so much because it is speaking volumes to the people around you.
Your worship is a testimony of Jesus’s love for you. Share on XYour worship is speaking and preaching a testimony of Jesus’s love for you and your love for Jesus. The Bible talks about this woman, who was worshiping Jesus and than all the people began to chat about it talk about it and than Jesus began’s to give an explanation and he says. Who loves more, the one who is forgiven much or the one who is forgiven less. Than they replied saying yes the one who is forgiven much is the one who loves more and Jesus looked at the woman and said this woman, that is worshiping me so radically. That is going all out to give herself to me shes been forgiven much and that is why she is worshiping me in this measure and I know that, we have all been praying that the church or the city or the people that we are surrounded by. They will have the same encounter with Jesus that we have had. But they can experience that only when we publicly, unashamedly when we worshiped God. When we give our self to God. When we take a stand for God.
In the case of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, it was not their act of worship, it was their act of not worshiping something else in terms of Daniel it was the fact that he prayed to God. But when it came to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego it was the fact that they refused to worship something else all of us we love worshiping God. When we love giving ourselves to him and yet we are constantly tempted to worship something else on this side. To give our time and our devotion and our efforts and our resources to something that is substanded, something that doesn’t deserve our worship our resources. We are tempted, to give our resources, our love our adoration to those things and if we can reserve ourselves to only and exclusively worship the Lord our God. If we can, take a step back from all those tricky circumstances and situations and say. I am not going to give myself to this kind of living, to this kind of conversation, to this kind of lifestyle.
May that be your testimony, may that be said about me and our churches our homes, our cities and our nations. We would rather die, than bow down our knees to give our resources, to give our adoration to something that doesn’t deserve that to anybody but God. May the Lord, bless your heart with this word in Jesus name. Amen
