Where’s the Honor?
Malachi 1:6 MSG
““Isn’t it true that a son honors his father and a worker his master? So if I’m your Father, where’s the honor? If I’m your Master, where’s the respect?” GOD -of-the-Angel-Armies is calling you on the carpet: “You priests despise Me! “You say, ‘Not so! How do we despise You?’ “By your shoddy, sloppy, defiling worship. “You ask, ‘What do you mean, “defiling”? What’s defiling about it?’”

In todays verse God is saying that He is not looking for titles because the people call Him the “worshiped One” but their style of worship is shoddy and sloppy.
God is asking this to us today – Does our words and actions outside really match up with the feelings that we have in the inside? And He is asking where is the honour in the worship?
God is not impressed by your sermons or your actions or even your ministry or giving as much as He is impressed by the condition of your heart.
If what is going on in your heart if different from what is going on in your life, then let this be a day when you realign yourself and bring in the respect and honor that God deserves.
Hope you will walk in fullness of knowing and worshipping God from today.
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
