Yes & Amen
2 Corinthians 1:20 NLT
For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for His glory.

In 2 Corinthians 1:20 the bible says for all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ. Beginning from Genesis, God has been speaking promises over promises upon our life. God has been giving prophesies right from Adam all the way down to Mary in the New Testament. Even the promises that have been reiterated by the Apostles and the promises that Jesus Himself gave, all of those promises have been fulfilled in Christ Jesus.
Jesus is the one answer for all of heaven’s promises. Just begin to thank God for what He has done through Jesus Christ, try and apply them into every one of your problems, life struggles and situations, and you will be surprised to see how the Lord is a very present help for every single one of our struggles.
The bible says, God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ Jesus with a resounding “Yes” and through Christ our Amen ascends to God for His Glory, so in other words, it has already been fulfilled in Christ, but there is something that we need to respond back and that is 1. Yes and 2. An Amen.
When we say Yes to the promises of God that have been accomplished in Christ, it begins to manifest and takes place in our lives.
The bible does not say all of God’s promises are given so let us enjoy now. It says now that God’s promises are given, why don’t you say a yes? Why don’t you say an amen to it? Why don’t you receive it?
Are you intentional at receiving and saying yes to what is God is doing in your life? The bible says, through Christ Jesus, we need to constantly say a yes and an amen for all the promises that has been accomplished through Jesus.
Our Yes and Amen ascending to God is an expression of us giving Him glory, worship, and honor. It is an expression of God receiving glory out of our receiving His promises.
Let’s live our lives in such a way that with everything that we do and with everything that we say, will bring glory to God.
Prayer:
Father, thank you for every one of the promises that we can apply in every area of our life that has been fulfilled through Christ Jesus. Today, as we begin our day, we begin by saying a Yes to Your promises, we say a Yes to Your will, we say a Yes to Your ambition and Your desire and Your dream in our life, and we say a Amen, a resounding Amen in our spirit so that it can bring You great glory and great honor my Father. Thank you so much for hearing our prayer, in Jesus name we pray, amen!!
