Worse off Than Before

Transcript:
Usually we go on with our lives thinking that everything that we have in our lives is something that we deserve, but it is absolutely not. It is the mercy and grace of God and the high price that Jesus had to pay for us on the Cross enables us to live a free, holy and sanctified life, and that is why we have to be careful that we would not fall back into a lifestyle that we had before we got saved.
According to 2 Peter 2:20, we escaped from the wickedness of the world by knowing and getting into a relationship with Jesus and the presence of God living inside of us enabling us to do all things that God wants us to do, and now, it is our choice to get tangled up and enslaved by sin again. If we make that disastrous choice and going to take the salvation for granted, then the Bible says that our later situation will be worse off than before we got saved.
It is very necessary for us to ponder on what Bible says about this and give our lives the priority to consecrate our words, actions, and thoughts.
The enemy will introduce small desires, imaginations and fears that will eventually cause us to be tangled up and enslaved by a lifestyle of sin.
Let our prayer be that none of us will ever reach that state in our lives where our later state is worse off than before, and we will be aware of all the small traps and tricks that the enemy is laying out for us, and we will avoid them carefully by the grace of God and by the power of Holy Spirit.
