Judge Yourself
Listen
The Lord wants us to impact the world around us. But our faith isn’t enough, as the bible says our actions need to be a result of that faith.
The bible says that it’s necessary to be careful of what we speak.
James 4:11 says – Don’t speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters.
We often find mistakes and problems in everybody around us. We don’t find anyone perfect and we are constantly looking to criticize people. The verse further says that if we do this we are criticizing and judging God’s law. Our job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to us.
Anytime you point a finger at someone, you are technically showing that you are perfect and without sin and the word of God is not true.
We do not have any rights to criticize one if you don’t have authority or if you are not a leader to that person. There is always a way to correct a person. Paul says, “fathers make sure not to provoke your children”.
Instead of criticizing, look for ways to see how you can help the person reach the destiny that God has called them for.
If we judge ourselves, the bible says we will not be judged. When we criticize ourselves and correct ourselves, you will receive God’s favour and He will use us to bless someone.
