The Free Distribution

Transcript:

In Mark 8:6, Jesus told the people to sit down and then He took the seven loaves, thanked God and broke into pieces and gave them to His disciples, who distributed to the crowd.

It is amazing that the crowd was fed not because of what Jesus did but of what the disciples did. The disciples could have taken what Jesus gave them for themselves or would hand it down to the people. It is the responsibility of the children of God to make sure that they will be faithful stewards. They did not need to multiply or inspect to make sure if it is enough or good, all that they were expected to do is distribute it.

Do we have the bread from heaven in our spirit every day and have we been intentional to distribute that bread?

Making sure the bread is going to be effective, to be relevant or to be liked by the people is not our responsibility but our responsibility is not to be selfish and to make an intentional approach to distribute to others and that is where we experience miracles, grace of God, freedom and the breakthrough.

The breakthrough was not experienced when the bread was still in the hands of Jesus; rather it was experienced when the disciples began to distribute it.

People do not have to come seeking for us but let we be the ones that will go looking for them, take care of them, and feed them. When we do that, the Lord is going to bring breakthrough through our hands, words, prophesies and prayers, and we will also see multiplication and increase in our families, churches and communities by what God is depositing on the inside of us.

Today, let us choose to be selfless. It is not about our names or ministries but it is all about the assignment that God has given to us, which is going to all nations, making disciples, baptizing and teaching them.

Let today be a day of submission to God’s plan and commission in our lives.
