Revelation, Power & Presence

Greetings in Jesus precious name! Welcome to this beautiful morning the Lord has given us to remember that every occasion, every circumstance, every aspect of our lives is orchestrated by God and they are meant to bring us close to him to become a channel of his presence and his provision in our lives.

There is nothing that we go through in life that does not have the potential to open up a revelation of God in our lives. When Jesus was crucified and trialled, in one of the trials, these guys asked him a very straightforward question, are you truly the Messiah? Are you truly the solution? Are you truly the answer to all the struggles we are going through? Are you truly the one that we have been waiting for?. We would think that this is a bad time to have a revelation of Jesus, because now you’ve been hurting him, spitting at him, insulting him. It doesn’t look like this is the right stage or the right place for you to have an encounter with Jesus and yet Jesus in all His mercy and glory he replied, “Yes I am, I am the answer, I am the Messiah, I am the solution, I am the one that you have been waiting for.

These guys have been experiencing these political, economical, relational, religious up and downs for centuries and at this point comes a Messiah who has the answer to every answer to every struggle they are going through and they did ask are you truly the same person and he answered that is who I AM.

Today the Lord wants to reveal himself to you and he wants to reveal himself as the answer to your problem, to your struggles to all those things you are going through and you think that a doctor could help, a pastor could help, you may think a close best friend could help, you may think that a good job with a great salary could help, you may think a different lifestyle, different eating habit, routine, thinking all of this could help to provide answers for every area of my life. But if you would come to Jesus today and say Lord are you truly the one, are you the one who is going to help me? Are you the one my help comes from? He is going to reveal himself to you no matter how many times you have messed, hurt him, he is still available for you and he is going to reveal himself to you.

If Jesus did not have any qualms about revealing himself as a Messiah to those who were spitting at him and to those that were hurting him, how much more would he not want to show forth his glory, his identity, his power and his grace on your behalf. He knows the brokenness you’ve been experiencing this season, he knows the challenge, the ups and downs you’ve been through and he is waiting to reveal himself to you. Saying I AM, yes I am the answer, yes I am the solution. In fact, he went on to explain more, and he said “Yes, I am the Messiah and you are going to see me the son of man seated in the place of power at God’s right hand.

Today I want to declare this to you, you are not just going to experience an answer or receive a revelation of who Jesus is, but you are going to see Jesus in action. Jesus promised these guys that you are going to see me seated in the place of power at God’s right hand. Today, may your revelation begin to manifest in your life, may you begin to see the solution of your revelation receive from Jesus, may you see the power of God in action, may you see the hand of God working for you, fighting for you. And it says you are also going to see me coming on the clouds of heaven.

There are three portions to this particular scripture, Mark 14:62, yes I am the Messiah (he is revealing his identity), secondly, you are going to see my power and third, you are going to experience me coming to you, coming on the clouds of heaven. So not only are you going to have a revelation of who this saviour for you is, but you are going to see his power in action and have his very personal presence that is promised in times when you are low, struggling, experiencing challenges. You know Jesus second coming is not going to be in a very pleasant time, it is going to be when the whole world is in turmoil and the entire nation of Israel is mourning and weeping, the whole world becomes big chaos and havoc everywhere, that is when Jesus will turn in physical form to the entire world.

And I believe your mess, struggles, challenges is a platform for the nearness of God to come and visit you. So will you turn your attention to him today? Will you allow his identity to be revealed to you? Will you allow the Lord to show you his power? And will you invite his presence to come and be a present very present help in times of troubles?

May the Lord cause your revelation to go to a different level today. Thank you for tuning in.
