When we understand who we are and see ourselves the way God sees us, then we will realize that the enemy will have a certain fear in trying to attack us. It is necessary that we have the right perspective of who we are when we are faced with our enemy.

In today’s scripture, it is the enemy of Gideon that spoke the truth that the Gideonites were courageous, had humility and a servants heart. Praying that our enemy will testify of us this season that we are courageous. God wants us to live like sons and daughters of the King and not give in to the fear that the enemy wants us to live under. There are some of us that may have to go into a battle with the enemy and we will be mocked, persecuted and go through trials because of that but we need to know how to keep our heads up high in the midst of all and today we are reminded that we are God wants us to live like the sons and the daughters of the King. We are not victims, we are not failures, we are not the tail, we are not the ones who will fail but the ones who will be more than conquerors, have victory at every step. When the enemy comes face to face with us, he needs to know who we are in spite of the outcome of the battle, we need to explain through our lifestyle and with the words that we speak that the enemy will not gain our allegiance. We must declare that our victory is not in the fact that We were not sick, lose money. But should be in the fact that we were able to represent the King and show forth the glory of God even in the midst of trials and the pandemic.

Praying that nothing will be able to discourage us in this season and nothing will distort the courage in our Spirit and the reassuring God-filled and Holy spirit ordained words which we speak every day. When we are ignorant of who we are, it can work against us, but when we are aware of who we are in Christ Jesus then the enemy will stay far away and even when he tries to come near he will not have access to those things that matter to eternal perspective.

It is necessary that we have the right perspective of who we are when we are faced with our enemy. Share on X
