Battle Against God
Listen
Greetings in Jesus Name! What a joy to be in the presence of the Lord. Every time we come into His presence, we go back with a portion of His mind and heart. Today, be encouraged to be wise and shroud on your life’s circumstances. It is okay for you to expect God to fight your battles but you must ask yourself why you are going through this struggle when He has blessed you.
In the book of 2 Chronicles:20:10, we see a prayer made by Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah, they say, “And now see what the armies of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir are doing. You would not let our ancestors invade those nations when Israel left Egypt, so they went around them and did not destroy them. 11 Now see how they reward us! For they have come to throw us out of your land, which you gave us as an inheritance.
This is a group of people in Moab, Ammon and Seir who are not originally Israelites but relatives of Israelites and God promised His protection over them. Moab and Amen were sons of Lot. Because of the fellowship between Lot and Abraham, God wanted to protect them, so He brought Lot out of Sodom and Gomorrah before destroying it. Mount Seir was inhabited by the sons and daughters of Esau. Esau was the brother of Jacob and son of Issac and they had a blessing on their family line which is why God did not want them to be destroyed.
God did not want to harm these three nations. And He said to the Israelites not to touch them nor enter into their land but go around them. When Israel is coming back to Canaan, they were about to destroy so many nations. But in the midst of this destruction, God is protecting these three nations.
The heart of God was for them to prosper. And at this point, they tend to fight with Judah. Even though God wants to protect them, because they have picked up a fight with someone God loves, God has to fight them.
It is very normal for a Moabite, Ammonite to think that God doesn’t love, care or protect them. But, God planned to protect them from the very beginning.
Are your battles or struggles is because you have picked up a fight with someone you are not supposed to? Can you introspect and reason out for your struggles?
When you pick battles that God doesn’t want you to, He will start fighting you. Share on XThere is a difference when people, demons and God are fighting you. Let be a word to introspect and understand in which our steps are leading.

Feel For Him
Acts 17:27 (GNT)
He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us.
Lock the Door
Matthew 23:13 (GNT)
““How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You lock the door to the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, but you yourselves don’t go in, nor do you allow in those who are trying to enter!”
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
