Choice of Friendships
Listen
Greetings in Jesus Name! Welcome to this beautiful day! I hope you are doing well in your relationships and I hope you make the decision that Lord wants you to make with who you fellowship.
In Psalm 26:4,5, I do not spend time with liars or go along with hypocrites. 5 I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join in with the wicked.
He makes a confession in front of God and acknowledging his lifestyle in front of Him. He says he does not spend time with lies. A great danger in our life is that we give ear to something opposite from the Voice of God. As long as they love and treat us well, we enjoy their friendship. But the main category is if he is speaking the truth or lies.
The second category is hypocrites. These are people speak the right thing but live a double standard their life. It is necessary for us to identify the hypocrites. You need to know people who call themselves believers but their lifestyles are very different.
The third thing is to stay away from the gathering of the wicked. There is grace and strength when you stay from the wicked. If it is used for wickedness, you need to step back.
We need to identify the liars and hypocrites and stay away from the wicked.
