The Blood Transports

Good morning and greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this beautiful new day.

We are blessed to be walking with the Lord every day, every morning, every evening, every season of our life here on earth, which is a blessing we have. It is amazing that God is continuously pouring into us, giving us access, grace and wisdom every season of our life. I hope that we are not taking this for granted. But we should make use of this opportunity by depending on Him, walking with Him, by making sure that our hearts becomes one with His. Every morning and every evening make sure you pour your hearts to Him.

The bible says in Ephesians 2: 13, “But now you have been united with Christ Jesus.”

He is speaking this in reference to what you were once upon a time. Once upon a time, you were excluded, alienated, you were ignorant, you had no idea who God is and what God wants to do in your life. But now if you have trusted in Jesus, you have been united with Jesus, you are made one, you are now intimate with Christ Jesus. Every day we have here on earth, we have to live it out as an expression of our intimacy with Jesus, an expression of how much you and I, are one with Him, how much we are united with Him, how much we can represent Him here on earth and how much when we stand before God the Father that we talk and look and behave like Jesus, because that is our spiritual reality and identity that we have been united with Christ Jesus.

The next statement says, “Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.”

The blood of Jesus is an accelerator. It transports you from far away from God to near God. The blood of Jesus is what makes you from the dimension of sin, brokenness, failure, sickness and self-dependency to a dimension where you are now depending on God, you have access to His presence, where you are now allowing brokenness to be healed, where you are allowing His presence to change you, where you are allowing Him to speak to you and mould you. It is the blood of Jesus Christ that brings you to this dimension. Everything else that we depend on to have access is all in vain.

This morning pay attention to this word. Bible says, your faraway state has now been changed to now near to God state and it purely because of the blood of Christ. Can we elevate the importance of the blood of Jesus in our life? How much importance do we give to our righteousness, our work, our ministry, what we have done for the Lord? Here the Lord is saying, it is not what you have done that has brought you near to me, but what I have done for you!

You constantly need to draw near, because you are aware of your identity, you are aware of your place in the Spirit realm. You need to continue to come closer every passing day. But you need to understand that it is not your wisdom, work or anointing that has brought you thus far.

If you and I, can continually make it a practice to depend on the blood of Christ, the precious blood of Jesus that makes a way for the nearness of Father, nearness with the Holy, nearness with the Lover of our soul.
