A Judgement that Elevates

Greetings in Jesus name! Welcome to this beautiful morning!
I pray that you will begin to see the Lord, His hand and work, His heart, His love, His grace for you in the toughest days of your life. I am sure that there are so many of us that are going through the highs and lows of life today, right now. I am sure there is some terrible news upsetting some of us, there are terrible things that are threatening a lot of us and in the midst of everything that we face on a daily basis, when we look at the face of Jesus, when we respond to life with the understanding of who our Savior is, who our King is, who our Lord is, we will not just see hope and solutions and answers, but we will understand that the same struggle, the same problem, that has the capacity to destroy me, will end up now becoming my stepping stone for victory, will become the reason why I am being promoted, will become the reason for my elevation.
The Bible says in Genesis 7:17, ‘For forty days the floodwaters grew deeper, covering the ground and lifting the boat high above the earth’. Now, this is speaking about a time in history, when God had spoken to Noah, and God told him that ‘I will destroy the entire earth.’ God was really upset with the people who lived on the planet back then, and He wanted to judge them and He wanted to make sure He wiped each and everyone out of the earth, and yet, in the midst of all that; God found one man; Noah, who He could speak to, who He could share His heart with, who He could bless, protect and provide for in the midst of all chaos and judgement that was about to come on the earth.
Now, the verse says, ‘For forty days the floodwaters continued to grow’. Just imagine, the floodwaters represented the judgement of God, it represented the anger of God, the punishment towards this ungodly, rebellious people group that lived on the planet and it says the judgement, the punishment, the anger continued to grow for forty days and as a result of this, it covered the ground.
I hope you remember in Genesis 1, God separated the land from the water and then there was the sea and the land. It was on the land where God would plant trees and human beings would live, this water covered the whole earth, it covered the land, everything that was created in Genesis 1, it got covered by the judgement of God, there was absolutely nothing on the planet that was not touched by the judgement of God. It is very normal for someone to look at a situation like this and say, there is no tomorrow, there is nothing good that can come out of this. I am not going to make progress when the whole world around me is sinking in the anger of God.
I am sure that we can handle people being upset with us, with our health failing us, we can handle lack of resources and money, but we cannot handle the judgement of God, the punishment of God and the anger of God.
The Bible says when God’s judgement covered the entire world and the floodwaters continued to grow deeper, and it had destroyed everything in its way, it says the same floodwaters began to elevate the boat in which Noah and his family and all those who obeyed the voice of God through Noah were living in. The same judgement that killed the majority of the population on the planet earth, was now elevating the boat, elevating the ark, elevating the place of refuge that Noah and his family were in, high above the earth.
Because of His favour, you are immune to circumstances that can drown you! Share on XGenesis 7:17, ‘ For forty days the floodwaters grew deeper, covering the ground and lifting the boat high above the earth’.
So, let me declare this to become a reality in your life. There may be so many things that could go wrong in your circumstances, they may even kill the people around you but it will only make you stronger, it’s only going to become a blessing for you, it is only going to provide more money for you, in fact, what is killing everybody else, God will make sure that you become immune to your circumstances, or situations.
The floodwaters that kill others, that is a judgement to the world around you, it is going to live your boat high above the earth because you have desired to take your refuge in the boat that represents the voice of God, the presence of God, the favour of God over your life, you are going to be lifted high on the same judgement that the world is perishing by, receive this, experience this, walk-in this for the rest of this day, in Jesus name. Amen!

Feel For Him
Acts 17:27 (GNT)
He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us.
Lock the Door
Matthew 23:13 (GNT)
““How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You lock the door to the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, but you yourselves don’t go in, nor do you allow in those who are trying to enter!”
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
