Aside & Privately

Greetings in Jesus name. Welcome to this amazing day.
The Lord wants to draw you so close to Himself that now there will be no difference between His heart and yours. You will receive information, understanding, secrets about things that are going to take place. There is a price that we need to pay for intimacy but the reward for this close and intimate walk with Jesus are numerous. You can be prepared, alert, and active so that the devil will not have the upper hand. You will know ahead of time what is going to take place. Nothing that will be taking place in your life will surprise you.

I want to encourage you from Matthew 20: 18, 19; “Listen,” he said, “we’re going up to Jerusalem, where the Son of Man will be betrayed to the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. They will sentence him to die. Then they will hand him over to the Romans to be mocked, flogged with a whip, and crucified. But on the third day, he will be raised from the dead.”

This was the inside information; nobody knew this, nobody had access to this information, but Jesus called His twelve disciples aside and in private told them that there is a difficult season coming ahead of you. There are some betrayals, mocking, flogging, whipping, crucifying that is going to take place and also there is a resurrection that will happen. All of this information was deposited in the hearts and minds of the disciples even though they were not yet ready for it and most of them did not understand what that is, it did not register in their spirit that this is how things will happen in the time ahead. But because they were walking closely with their rabbi, it kept them grounded. For sure we need information that is going to keep us grounded, confidence and filled with faith.

If you would step aside and get private with Jesus you can be sure that a glimmer of hope is coming your way in the darkest of the season you might be passing by. Share on XToday my prayer is that you will pursue Jesus with such ferocity, desire and understanding that you will not miss out on any information that God is going to give you. The bible says that Jesus took His twelve disciples aside! They had to step aside from their journey to Jerusalem. Jesus initiated this journey and somewhere in between, he asked his disciples to step aside in their journey, to take a break, to just sit in His presence because He has something to give them.

So this morning what does it take for you to set aside from your daily chores and all the routine that you have so that you will be productive in doing what God has called you to do? What will you do to step aside in your journey to Jerusalem? Jesus didn’t just ask them to step aside but He also spoke to them privately.
It’s not enough that we step aside; we also need to let go of some connections when we step aside. First is that we need to slow down, step aside; Second is that we find a private space because Jesus is going to tell you what is going to happen. He wants to tell you how your life is going to turn out, how you need to be fruitful and productive, how He wants to bless you and your family, how He wants to turn your life around, how He wants to equip and strengthen you in this season. He is going to show you this season pictures, voices, for some step by step on job training; His voice is coming to us if we can step aside and get into a private place with Him then we are going to know what’s next, what will happen tomorrow. Jesus just did not give them bad news, there was good news also about His resurrection.

This morning, be assured that the Lord will give you a glimmer of hope in the darkest of seasons you might be passing by if you would just step aside and if you would just get private with Him.
