Greetings in Jesus’ name. Welcome to this beautiful new morning.
Whatever the Lord is working in your life today, you will see the fullness and perfection of it in no time. It is necessary we learn to trust the heart of God for our lives. Sometimes, He is not going to fulfill each and every expectation that we have; He may not necessarily respond to our prayers the exact same way we want Him to and yet the truth is that God is still on our side and he gives us the grace, strength and the power to be an overcomer in any situation.
Colossians 1:11 – “We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy.” Apostle Paul is talking about God’s glorious power.
We expect this power of God to make impossible things possible, open doors, heal us and help us in every aspect of our lives; but Apostle Paul gives us a different perspective. He says that God’s glorious power will make you patient and strong enough to endure anything and then you will be truly happy.
The glorious power of God is not available just for breakthroughs; but also to make us patient and gives us the strength to endure certain problems. Share on XGod is not going to intentionally hurt you or harm you but there are going to be situations in life when we stand up for what is right, good and godly and when persecutions come our way, at that time we would expect God’s glorious power will rescue us.
The Bible talks about how God rescued Daniel from the lions’ den and how God rescued Shadrach Meshach and Abednego from the furnace of fire. It is normal for us to expect God to rescue us and the truth is that He loves rescuing His children.
Yet, there are seasons when the Lord allows certain things for a particular reason
For example; Apostle Paul prayed and asked God to remove the thorn in his flesh, yet God said, “My grace is enough for you”.
This morning the Lord is speaking over you. He is going to release His glorious power over you. Instead of taking away the problem, this power will make you patient and help you trust in the Lord and help you to endure the troubles you face this season. It makes you strong enough to not give up on the call of God in your life. This glorious power will enable you to endure anything.
The last line of the verse says, “and then you will be truly happy.” Paul says that when God releases His glorious power, it can bring you the same joy and happiness just like how it would be if God had taken away the problem.
Are we going to be a child of God that trust in His will, ways and purpose?
Today, we are not without this supernatural help, strength and grace which is sufficient for us.
Prayer: Father, we thank you for your power and for making us patient and strong enough for everything we face. Thank you for helping us to endure anything and everything. Thank you for the true joy and happiness as a result of the manifestation of this glorious power. We trust your plans and will in our lives. In Jesus name. Amen
