Blood That Sanctifies
The high priest will then take some of the bull’s blood into the Tabernacle, dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the Lord in front of the inner curtain of the sanctuary. The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar for fragrant incense that stands in the Lord’s presence inside the Tabernacle. He will pour out the rest of the bull’s blood at the base of the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance of the Tabernacle. – Leviticus 4:5-7 NLT

Welcome to this new beautiful month, Praying that today we will experience a deep and a close relationship with the Lord. Everyday that we go through life there are so many things that stop us from knowing God intimately and personally and it is necessary we identify those things and we seek a permanent solution to this. The blood of Jesus is the ultimate solution for every impurity in our lives.
In the Old testament it was required that the priest use the ritual of sprinkling the blood before he could begin the process of worship. When we read the pattern of worship that is mentioned in todays verse we see it was something that kept repeating no matter what kind of burnt offering the Priest was doing . The second thing that happens is that the priest will take the blood and then pour some of the blood on the horns of the altar where fragrant incenses were being offered to the Lord. This gave asylum to everyone that trusted in it. The priest first had to purify the horns of the altar as it was what people relied on to receive help from God. Lastly was when the rest of the blood was to be poured at the base of the altar and that is where reconciliation is done and sin is atoned for.
Asking each and everyone reading this today who is struggling in their relationship with God to apply the blood of Jesus in the process of expression and sacrifices to God by applying the Blood of Jesus over our worship, in our conversations, our service in the Church and what will eventually strengthen us and ultimately it will be the blood of Jesus that will give us right standing with God be complete and hold for eternity.
Prayer: Father, we thank you for the precious & spotless blood of the lamb poured out for us on the cross, we receive this blood an ask that no weapon formed against us will speak louder than what the blood is speaking for us today. Thank you for purifying and sanctifying us, we receive its complete work in Jesus name we pray. Amen!
