Transcript:
At the time when God said these words (Haggai 2:21), the entire Israel was in shambles. Jerusalem and Judah were all in ruins. He speaks to the governer of this empty place about how he’s going to unsettle everything around him.
We are called to be governors in our homes, neighbourhood, city and nation because, we are certain about our identity in Christ.
God is saying, “I will shake the heavens and the earth.” He will unsettle everything that exalts itself. Jesus taught that everything and every person that exalts itself/themselves will be humbled by him.
While there was an earthquake when Paul and Silas were imprisoned, all the other prisoners’ shakles were also broken. They too had an encounter with their God.
When God works in and through you, he will work in people around you too, and they will also testify.
