Pleasure in Blessing

Today, may our eyes be opened to see the grace that is fighting for us; the grace that is working for us and the grace that is manifest in us even when we are unaware of it.
We all know the story of how Balaam was hired to curse the nation of Israel. The enemy saw that the only way in which the nation of Israel can be brought down. This was the only way in which the enemy could have an upper hand over the nation of Israel. And so, the Prophet Balaam, who had never gotten a prophecy wrong, who had never made a mistake in the past, who had always been accurate in the past, sees and understands that Adonai is pleased and determined to bless Israel.
Regardless of the situation we are in, our Father in heaven is pleased to bless us. He takes pleasure in making sure we live a healthy life and making sure that all our needs are met; He takes pleasure in making sure we are placed with the right environment with the right people, families, career; He takes pleasure in our blessing, He doesn’t enjoy seeing us disappointed, hurt, sick; He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His saints. Balaam – a false Prophet, a Prophet who was sold out for money, a guy who was into divination and black magic, understood that the Lord was pleased to bless Israel. How much more we, as children of God see the same fact and make it our identity. We need to believe every curse, witchcraft that were released into our lives, have failed in their plans and purposes because our Father in Heaven is pleased to bless, protect and care for us.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
