Feel For Him
Acts 17:27 GNT
He did this so that they would look for him, and perhaps find him as they felt around for him. Yet God is actually not far from any one of us.

God is never distant, even when His presence doesn’t seem obvious. At times, He allows us to seek Him more intentionally—not because He has withdrawn, but because He desires a deeper relationship with us. Faith is expressed not only by believing in Him but by actively pursuing Him in every season of life.
Acts 17:27 reminds us that God placed a longing within us so that we would seek Him and find Him. Whether life is filled with joy or difficulty, His invitation remains the same: look for Him. In moments of blessing, seek His presence rather than only His gifts. In moments of trial, remember that He is still in the fire with you, just as He was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Seeking God doesn’t always look the same. Sometimes it is through prayer, worship, gratitude, Scripture, or simply a heart that refuses to stop reaching for Him. As we continue to pursue Him, we discover what has always been true—He was never far away. He faithfully reveals Himself to those who seek Him with all their heart.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
