Discernment for Freedom

by | Podcast

Exodus 10:10 (NLT)
“Pharaoh retorted, “The LORD will certainly need to be with you if I let you take your little ones! I can see through your evil plan.”

Based on Exodus 10:10, this message highlights the importance of discernment in recognising when limitations and restrictions are not God’s will. Pharaoh tried to control what the Israelites could take with them into worship, separating them from their families, possessions, and freedom. In the same way, we can sometimes accept restrictions in our lives as normal circumstances without recognising how they may hinder our ability to honour God. The message encourages us to become sensitive to God’s ways so we can identify the source of confusion, fear, limitation, and bondage instead of blaming the wrong people or circumstances. Everything we have—including our families, education, finances, work, recreation, and daily choices—can be surrendered to God and used for His glory. With discernment, we can reject every enslaving voice and walk confidently in the freedom and purpose God has given us.
