Sever the Roots

We should understand God’s perspective on our lives. He is looking for good fruit and productivity in His way. Let our lives will have the goodness of God so much that when our Father comes to look for good fruit, He will find that our words are pleasant. we carry the fragrance of Jesus everywhere we go and we look like Jesus.
If we are not producing good fruit, then God is going to sever the roots. The roots feed the tree and helps it to grow in a particular manner, and the roots determine the number of fruits and kind of fruits it bear. Instead of removing the fruits that are bad, God is going to sever the bad roots that are responsible for them.
If you would allow the Lord to do a cleansing work in your life which are not the surface level issues but the things that are deep down in the unconscious realm and have remained as a hurt in your life, then God will throw those bad roots into the fire and disconnect you from them.
The theme of this year is to be rooted. Being rooted in a good ground will help us to produce the kind of fruit that God wants us to produce. If you will let the Lord to take you through a process of making radical choices and decisions, in spite of, how much time it will take for you to disconnect from all those roots of bitterness, anxiety, false humility, wrong judgment and critical attitude, you will see the result of it.
May the Lord cause you to fall into a deep devotion for His presence, His face, His lifestyle, His ways and His principles. If you are willing to go to whatever extent that is necessary to disconnect from your roots, then your life will look more and more like Jesus.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
