Transcript: Good morning & Greetings to you in Jesus name. Welcome! This is a beautiful day and we have to believe that the Lord is going to walk with us during the course of this day. And it is going to be limited as to what we believe about ourselves and about our God; what we believe about our purposes and our assignments here on earth. If we believe that we are here just by chance then that is all that will be accomplished; the outcome of our life is all gonna be by chance! But if we believe what God has said about us through the word of God then we are going to see the totality of His plans come to pass. But this doesn’t mean that we will not have problems and trials. The enemy will try to put a lot of problems when we try to be diligent to slow us down. We read about this in Ezra 5, how the opposition towards the rebuilding of the Temple arose in Jerusalem. The enemies started asking questions as to who gave them permission to rebuild the temple! This was the response in verse 11, “This was their answer: ‘We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the Temple that was built here many years ago by a great king of Israel.” This was not the answer that the enemies were looking forward to. There was already a king in their day and time who had given them permission to go and build the temple. And yet, when they are questioned they are not referring to King Cyrus but rather they refer to God of heaven and earth. Practically speaking there will always be people questioning you, you will always have challenges. Every time the voice of the enemy comes, you need to declare who you are in the spirit, whose servant you are? Why are you doing this work, why are you building this project, who inspired you to do this project? This has to be the first motivating factor for you. You can have other practical reasons like you are working for a particular company, you are working for a church; these are secondary factors. Everything that we do today is directed towards this one purpose of glorifying the God of heaven and earth. Share on X You and I, need to have this confession today that we are the servants of the God of heaven and earth. Everything I am doing today is to build His temple, to bring glory to Him and establish His kingdom. Whatever I do with my marriage, my career is all directed towards this one purpose of glorifying the God of heaven and earth. Well, you might have been given provision by Microsoft or Accenture just like King Cyrus gave lots of provisions of gold and silver to these people and yet they did not say this is the project of King Cyrus; they believed that this is the project of the God of heaven and earth. So this morning let there be a realignment in your heart and spirit; this will prevent you from failure and keep your head high when the enemy comes knocking at your door.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.

The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.

God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.

The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
