Listen
Today’s devotion teaches that true worship is more than singing songs—it is offering God heartfelt praise in a way that honors Him. In 2 Chronicles 29:30, King Hezekiah instructed the Levites to worship using the psalms of David and Asaph, showing that worship can be learned by following the example of faithful men and women who knew God’s heart. Their worship was marked by joy, reverence, revelation, and wholehearted devotion, creating an atmosphere where God’s presence could dwell.
The message encourages us to identify godly role models whose lives demonstrate genuine worship and intimacy with God. By learning from their example—not merely copying their style but embracing their heart attitude and passion for God—we can grow deeper in our own worship. As we build a lifestyle of joyful praise and sincere devotion in our homes, churches, and daily lives, we create a place where God’s presence is welcomed, and we position ourselves to experience His grace, favor, and transforming power.
