An Oath to Reproduce
I command you in the name of the Lord to read this letter to all the brothers and sisters. – 1 Thessalonians 5:27

Every day we receive from God is a fresh privilege, it is a chance to think about how we can use the opportunity to represent Him. We have this privilege and the choice of continuing to be like ourselves or the choice to be like God and be everything he wants us to be in each season of life. When we come into Gods presence we need to trade our desires and dreams for his plans and purposes for us. Pauls letter in today’s verse shows He was very unapologetic and unashamed in a case where he was insisting and ordering the church to do something not in his authority or his name but in the Lords. He says because which means they are responsible to keep the covenant. The way Paul put it may look to us like he wanted them to serve God and stay to His commands alone but this is one which he put them under oath. Paul sat in the presence of God and received certain ordinances regarding the church and to make sure nobody is left out on any revelation. The church is not left with an option or a nice suggestion. He wanted everyone to have heard this word.
Let us choose to be intentional in sharing the word of God to those who missed out. Share on XHow many times in the week do we hear the word of God, when we read this podcast what do we do to share it. The responsibility now is to ensure that nobody misses it. When in church or an online stream we should be mindful to look out for those who have not been able to hear the word to hear it. Can we make sure to reproduce the word of God coming to us from our Pastors, and church leaders to other members of the congregation so that the effectiveness of the word of God continues to produce fruits and harvest wherever it goes. May the Lord honour our obedience, response and submission to this scripture today.
Prayer: Lord we say yes to this charge and privilege to represent your voice to everyone in the church. Give us the grace to do this, in Jesus name Amen.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
