In John 13:31, it says Jesus waited for Judas to leave. Judas didn’t stay long enough, until he received a revelation. Meanwhile, all the other disciples received knowledge, information and instructions, that helped them to survive and stay persistent throughout the period of persecution and trials. Judas missed these vital information and, ended up killing himself.
Let’s not walk away from the presence of our Lord, until we receive a revelation, that we are going to see the son of Man glorified, and the grace and healing we need to survive is arriving. Jesus is about to take the rightful place in our life, Church and community. The King is taking over and it is happening from today! Even when we are hurt or broken, Lord’s sovereignty will rule. Now is the time! All that we need to do, is to make sure we don’t quit, and stay faithful.

Lock the Door
Matthew 23:13 (GNT)
““How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You lock the door to the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, but you yourselves don’t go in, nor do you allow in those who are trying to enter!”
Healing and Bandaging
Psalms 147:2-3 (GNB)
“The LORD is restoring Jerusalem; he is bringing back the exiles. He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds.”
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
