Opportunity for Great Joy

Every time we draw near to God we will go back with a fresh revelation and elevation.
The bible tells us to rejoice in God all the time. How do we do that since every season is not going to be conducive for celebration?
This can only be done with the strength of the Lord.
The bible says that we have been filled with the fruit of the Spirit which includes joy.
It’s impossible that we be filled in the Holy Spirit and we continue to remain in sorrow or sadness or anxiety. You cannot serve two masters at a time. You are either serving yourself or your are serving the Holy Spirit.
If we are filled and led by the Holy Spirit then as a natural result we have to respond to every situation, especially the negative/sad ones with great joy. Otherwise we are responding in our flesh and when we do that we are going to fail big time.
This season take the opportunity to be glad and happy in God.
One of the best way to worship God is by acknowledging that He is great and has the number one position in your life inspite of all the challenges that is going on in your life, that He deserve all your love, attention, devotion, respect and celebration.
Problems and challenges may come and go, but the presence of God always remains constant.
The love of God is not proved by the things that you have been blessed with, but it has been proved in the gift of Jesus for everyone. And so James says we need to rejoice in Him.
Today, inspite of everything that you are faced with, respond with joy.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
