by | Feb 18, 2021 | Patience

Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.- Psalms 37:7 (NLT)

Transcript:

Sometimes God wants us to act and sometimes He wants us to sit back, relax and enjoy what He is doing in our life. And that’s what the Lord says in Ps 37:7. Today, seek out ways and keys that will help you to be still in His presence. Before you do that, you would need to get the answers to these questions: 1. Where do you get the presence of God 2. How do you host the presence of God 3. What you need to do to sustain the presence of God Whatever key you find to get into the presence of God, may it be worship or fellowship or anything, once you enter into His presence, do not struggle by bringing in the works of the flesh but be still. And when you are in His presence, you are expected to wait patiently for God to act. Generally, we think that the act of God is about He fighting our enemies or healing us, but yet the most beautiful work that He does is not in the circumstances around us but our heart depending upon our willingness. Our biggest enemy is the lack of transformation that we experience on the inside of us. Share on X The verse further talks about evil people, which he means are those who are not led by the good God, and they wouldn’t want to wait in the presence of God and do things on their own. A child of God doesn’t have to worry about who is prospering or growing, because you are a carrier of God’s presence, you are going prosper anywhere you go. Don’t fret but find the presence of God and be still and wait patiently for God to act, in you first, for you and then through you.
