Psalms 117:2 (HCSB)

“For His faithful love to us is great; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Hallelujah!”

Transcript

Every time when God speaks, grace is imparted to us in order to be able to live a significant and purposeful life on earth. We are people who have directions and destiny and when we receive the voice of God we understand how we ought to conduct, change and upgrade our lives.

Psalms 117 is an encouragement to praise the Lord, to all people, nations, languages, and backgrounds. The scripture doesn’t say, only the ones that are most spiritual, the ones who have read their Bible or have great understanding about God, only let them praise the Lord. We all are commanded and invited, into a praise encounter with God. Many times we look for opportunities to praise God. But this shouldn’t be the reason why we praise God. We should praise him because of his steadfast, unconditional, and faithful love towards us. This love will never cease and it will be constant all throughout our lives. Our praise cannot be more on the days when we are blessed and less on the days when we face lack.

Our praise should be consistent and oriented in such a way that it signifies and shows the steadfast love of God toward us. It cannot be ordinary praise, we are called to give God the highest praise every day. Our faith is tested when we are not getting blessed. The purpose of our faith is not that we will get all the answers to our prayers but it will help us believe even when we don’t see. There is no such season, where his steadfast love will not be present, available, or active. Even when the things in our lives are not working out, his faithfulness is still going to manifest.
