Lying Generation

Welcome to the day that Lord has made and we shall rejoice in it!
In Psalms:12:7, the psalmist, David confessed to the Lord by saying, “Therefore, LORD, we know you will protect the oppressed, preserving them forever from this lying generation.” David is expressing his firm trust, reliance.
Let us introspect and ask, What do we know in the truth about God? At these times, we tend to believe certain facts and carried away. David is guaranteed that God will do this and it will happen. Let us gain the faith and confidence of David in who God really is.
David’s confession about the people who are oppressed and going through the turmoil that the Lord protects and cares for them. David has a revelation that when he fails to care about them, the Lord does. The Lord will come with the right response at the right time.
David would have seen the oppressed not be protected or cared for, yet he saw the spiritual reality that the Lord will take care of them.
We may look at a broken and think that Lord did not come through for this person. But the truth is that the Lord will strengthen the oppressed. He causes justice at the right time. He preserves the oppressed from a group of people who keep saying deceptive things
The greatest form of oppression is when someone deceives you.
When you believe all the lies spoken to you, you give to oppression. But those who trust in the Lord, He says that He will forever preserve them from the lying generation.

Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
