One Man Army

There is never a time or season in our lives when we become aware of God’s presence and we continue to live a sub-standard or compromised life. As soon as we become aware of God’s presence in our lives, it empowers us for victory and supernatural living. In the book of Judges 6:16, God promises Gideon, His presence. Gideon had a lot of doubts, questions, and challenges in his mind and he was unable to understand how will God fight for them. How will the Lord use him and rescue his nation? And the answer that God gave to Gideon was ‘I am going to be with you’.

Today the Lord is gifting us His presence and guidance and His voice will continue to be with us. Whenever we become unaware of God’s presence in our lives, we are setting ourselves up for failure because automatically our dependence will be on ourselves and, our experiences. And, that is why we need to keep reminding ourselves that He is with us. God promised Gideon that they would overcome the entire nation of Midianites as a man army. God told Gideon that he didn’t have to be dependent on his army, or the people who were promising to be with him, he didn’t need to expect their money, time, Or their influence. In other words, God was saying that His presence is the greatest backing that he needs. It is the greatest resource and financial backing that he would ever need. God being with him is all the grace and power and anointing he needs to be able to overcome.

If we begin to believe in the anointing and grace that is in our lives and begin to become aware of God’s presence and that He is with us, we will never experience failure and be disappointed. When we are in our high or low seasons, on a mountain top or in the valleys, in the seasons of sorrow or joy, the same presence of God will help us and be by our side. We will become that one man that the enemy will not be able to overcome and become a stumbling block in his way.
