The Best Food
Listen
Transcript:
We receive everything from the Lord, when our ears are open and we have inclined ourselves to the voice, to the presence and to the movements of God. When we are attentive and receptive, we will hardly go unheard in heaven.
What a declaration and revelation we find in Isaiah 55:2, where the Lord is saying you have been spending all your money on things, people, resources, investments, food and yet, none of it is satisfying. It doesn’t look like you feel loved or special. As a child of God we are also falling into the same trap of hoarding things, thinking we will be content if we have it all! It is a lie from the enemy. Having money or how we spend money will never satisfy us. God is asking us why do we spend our wages and still be hungry in certain areas of our life. Those areas, it feels like there is no end to this agony. It could be emotions, it could be a mind battle, it could be relationships, finances or health. The Lord is saying, today, if you’re spending money, can you listen to God and then spend it, if you’re using your wages, can you try and hear the heart of God for your finances, marriage, dream house or car and then go ahead and spend according to how God speaks to you.
The Bible says, listen to me and do what I say. So this day, don’t just be emotional. There are some things that we want to buy which may be a necessity, it could be as simple as buying food, but, can you be led by the Lord. Can you listen to God and then do what he says, there may be seasons when the Lord will say go out of your way and buy everything and there will be other seasons when God says, don’t buy anything, just trust in me! Jesus told his disciples in one of the journey’s, this time, you’re not going to take money or extra pair of clothes, or even an extra sandal. You are going to walk by faith and see the provision of your father in heaven.
So, it’s necessary that we spend our money by listening to what God is speaking to us. What we need is heaven’s perspective and then, we’ll truly enjoy the best of it all! It will be best in human standards and also, in heavenly standards. Angels will envy us for the life style, for the way we are living here on earth, because it will resemble heavenly standards.

Lock the Door
Matthew 23:13 (GNT)
““How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You lock the door to the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, but you yourselves don’t go in, nor do you allow in those who are trying to enter!”
Healing and Bandaging
Psalms 147:2-3 (GNB)
“The LORD is restoring Jerusalem; he is bringing back the exiles. He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds.”
Psalm 147:2–3 reveals God's heart as a Restorer rather than a Punisher. Although Israel went into exile because of its own rebellion, God did not abandon His people. Instead, He promised to restore Jerusalem, bring the exiles home, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds.
The message reminds us that while God may use friends, pastors, counselors, or loved ones to help us, true healing and restoration ultimately come from the Lord. His restoration reaches every part of our lives—our hearts, relationships, health, finances, emotions, and spiritual walk.
God knows every wound, including those hidden from others. Unlike people, who can only comfort from the outside, He sees the deepest parts of our hearts and heals completely. His healing is so complete that even the scars of past pain lose their power to define us.
The devotion encourages believers to fix their eyes on God instead of relying solely on human help. No matter how far someone has drifted, how many mistakes they have made, or how broken they feel, God is still calling them back. His desire is to restore, heal, and make all things beautiful in His perfect timing.
