Empty Handed

Transcript:
We have to come into the presence of God with heart full of worship and adoration to give back to Him for everything that He has given to us. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 16:16 “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover) and at the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) and at the Feast of Booths (Tabernacles), and they shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed.”
This was a season where geographical location and males had more priority and the 3 occasions where the people travelled from where they lived all the way to the place where the presence of God was, and this was the instruction that when they come into His presence, they shall not appear before the Lord empty handed. As a proof of their love and worship for the Lord, they should bring their tithes and offerings.
Honoring God cannot be just with lips. In many places, the Bible says that “they honor me with their lips but their hearts are far away” and Jesus said “where your heart is where your treasure is.” If you think that your heart is in the House of God, then your treasure also ought to follow your heart to the House of God. Bible says in the book of Proverbs to honour the Lord with our physical substance.
In New Testament, there are no rules and regulations as to how much give or if it had to be a physical offering or something else. You can do according to your revelation. Everytime when the Lord is increasing you to the next level, make sure to come rejoicing, and being thankful and full of gratitude before His presence but may your hands never be empty.
Lord will give seed to the sower. If you see yourself as a sower, you can be assured that the seed will also come from the Lord. When you prepare yourself to appear before the Lord, always ask the Lord to help you to identify your seed. If you can identity your seed and if you can go to the extent of sowing that seed, then your harvest is very close by.
