Favour of the Custodian
Esther 2:15 NKJV
Now when the turn came for Esther the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her as his daughter, to go in to the king, she requested nothing but what Hegai the king’s eunuch, the custodian of the women, advised. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all who saw her.

In this episode of Another Day with Jesus, Apostle Priji reminds you that God’s grace is powerful enough to make you flourish even in difficult, unfamiliar, or hostile environments. True success does not depend on favorable circumstances but on carrying the favor of God wherever you go.
Drawing from Esther 2:15, he reflects on how Esther obtained favor from everyone around her, not because she was the most gifted or beautiful, but because she understood the importance of humility, submission, and honoring authority. Though she lived among people who did not share her faith or values, she respected the protocols of the palace and followed the guidance of the king’s custodian. Her willingness to serve faithfully and wisely opened doors that human effort alone could never unlock.
This principle is seen throughout Scripture in the lives of Joseph and Daniel, who also prospered under ungodly rulers by conducting themselves with wisdom, respect, and integrity. You may find yourself in workplaces, homes, or environments that do not reflect your beliefs, yet God can still grant you favor there. Instead of resisting every difficult circumstance, you are encouraged to discern whom God has placed over you, honor them appropriately, and serve wholeheartedly as unto the Lord.
As you walk through today, ask God for wisdom to recognize the people He has positioned to guide and steward your journey. By cultivating humility and learning to navigate authority with grace, you can experience the same divine favor that rested upon Esther—a favor that causes others to support, protect, and bless you, even in unlikely places.
